fALL 2026
Learn music fundamentals in a relaxed and creative setting with seasoned music teacher John Doing.
Students in 2 classes (ages 1-4, 5-8) get hands-on experience with a variety of instruments including drums, percussion, keyboards, synthesizers, guitar, ukulele, bass, flutes, vocal microphone, and more.
Each child needs to be under the supervision of an attending adult.

Class Goals
Make sounds with our voice and learn to listen with our ears.
Sing simple, beautiful songs from different cultures of the world.
Lots of hands-on experimentation with a variety of instruments.
Introduction to the piano/musical keyboard.
Learn how to move with a beat.
Repeat and internalize rhythms through call and response.
Listen to music. Talk about music.
Learn about improvisation and how to be musically creative.
Work on group arrangements.
Class Recital! (dependent on enrollment/interest)
